Dear World Lithuanians, representatives of business and economics,

PLEF organizer Lithuanian Business Confederation| ICC Lietuva and partners would like to again honestly thank you for participating at the World Lithuanian Economic Forum on 2-3 July 2009.
We are extremely thankful for your belief in the idea of a Global Lithuania of Businesses after facing its revival in our office after a period of 17 years.

However, most importantly, you, dear World Lithuanians, managed to convince the Lithuanian society and "infect" us all with this dream, which is now ready to fly. In this difficult period we are in a particularly stong need of each other. Therefore we strongly believe that following the resolutions adopded by the forum we will together make this common dream come true. Let us start now, because the results are in need of today.

    In a modern and globalizing society  it is crucial to realize that the mobility of people brings not only challenges but also a new scope of possibilities to Lithuania - the intellectual potential of the World Lithuanians. The World Lithuanian Economic Forum will attract leaders in economics and business of Lithuanian origin.

  • Economic crisis – high time for better cooperation 

    The world is threatened by the economic crisis, which is inevitably reaching Lithuania as well. Therefore generating modern, rational and innovative ideas is of a crucial importance today. Experts in business and economics are invited to discuss about the prospects for more competitive business in Lithuania.

  • The third meeting of the World Lithuanian businessmen

    The World Lithuanian Economic Forum  is the third meeting of the World Lithuanian businessmen where Lithuanian business representatives of different generations are invited  from all over the world.

  • Brainstorm of business ideas from Lithuania and abroad

    The aim of the World Economic Forum is to involve Lithuanian businessmen and experts in economics living abroad into economic life of Lithuania, as well as strengthen their emotional ties with Lithuania and to demonstrate opportunities  of developing business and attracting foreign investment to Lithuania.
